The Second Term of Bosch’s China Automotive Technology Innovation Experience Day was held on November 13th in Suzhou. Dr. Xu Daquan, the executive vice president of Bosch China giving a living address. As the largest technology experience activity of Bosch in Asia-Pacific region twice a year, the experience day showed a covering of Bosch’s innovative and local solutions of connected riding, automatic driving and cleaning power.
An overall intelligent transportation solution of Interconnection, automation and electrification has been the main services of Bosch in Chinese auto market.
Bosch has built a department for Driver Assistance System concerning to automation, Bosch’s core business sector. And it has cooperated with many auto enterprises, including a lot of self-owned brands. Also, Bosch’s Driver Assistance System Department is focus on the technologies and solutions of automatic parking and interconnect parking.
Another core driving force for safe driving is interconnecting technologies. Bosch is exploring new human-computer interaction and interface to make full use of interconnect driving.
In the field of electrification, Bosch expect E-moving to be a trend, but the traditional internal combustion engine will still play an important role. Bosch aims to reduce the fuel consumption of traditional internal combustion engine of about 30%. Before that, hybrid power technology will be used as a transitional solution.
Based on the deepening of the three strategies above, Bosch will also focus on transportation of two-wheelers, commercial vehicles, non-road machinery and equipment and transportation service this year. It has newly built a division for commercial vehicles and non-road machinery and equipment, having interconnection, automation and electrification put into practice in the field of commercial field, thus to promoting the overall efficiency and safety of the logistic ecological system.
It is expected that, sales of Bosch’s commercial vehicles and non-road machinery and equipment in the future 10 years will double, and the demand of modern agriculture and upgrade of constructive machinery equipment and technologies will bring more opportunities to Bosch. Bosch is expected to achieve a billion of euros every year in two-wheeler field. Its active safety technology for Chinese market can also reduce 48% of serious injury and death accidents.
