Shanghai (Gasgoo)- German auto parts supplier Bosch recently inked a strategic cooperation MoU with Shenzhen Honeycomb Connected Technology Co.,Ltd (Honeycomb Connected), a China-based IoT (Internet of Things) technology developer, to jointly offer innovative digital solutions to help China's manufacturing companies conduct transformation and upgrade.
In accordance with the MoU, the collaboration will be based on German advanced intelligent manufacturing experience and technologies. Both parties shall serve China's mid-sized manufacturing enterprises with the strong will to transform themselves by creating a cloud ecosystem platform and offering online/offline digital solutions and services that span the whole value chain, entire process and overall production factors of China’s manufacturing industry.
Meanwhile, under the cooperation, Bosch and Honeycomb Connected will co-build a training system that trains employees for Chinese enterprises and provide them with relevant expertise certifications, offer consultation services about lean production, Industrie 4.0 and other business. Besides, two companies is about to jointly assist the government and industrial organization with the formulation of relevant standards and policies.
Currently, two companies have set about building an intelligent manufacturing innovation hub at Jiangning District in Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu Province. They are also pushing ahead with innovation centers in Guangzhou (capital of Guangdong Province) and Zhuzhou (a prefecture-level city of Hunan Province).
