Gasgoo Munich- BYD struck a strategic partnership with Honor on October 12. Using an A2A (Agent-to-Agent) protocol, the tie-up bridges in-car and smartphone voice agents, weaving Honor's YOYO AI capabilities into BYD's DiLink cockpit. Unlike earlier phone-to-car links, the core breakthrough here is direct collaboration between agents on both ends. The vehicle system no longer needs to pre-install adaptations for mobile apps, and users can stop manually shuttling tasks between devices.

The first wave of use cases includes YOYO remote vehicle control—locating or prepping the car by voice—alongside a mirrored smartphone desktop. This desktop ports the full suite of mobile apps into the vehicle. The features require the DiLink 100 smart cockpit platform or later, and will span more than 100 BYD models.
The two companies first teamed up on NFC digital car keys in 2023, extending the tie-up to in-car fast charging in 2024. In October 2025, they formalized a strategic pact in Shenzhen, singling out cross-device ecosystem and AI agent integration as priority areas. From digital keys to agent synergy, the partnership's trajectory marks a clear pivot—shifting from isolated feature matching toward system-level AI orchestration.
