The BYD new-energy vehicle power battery project in Xixian New Area, Shaanxi province, has entered full-scale production，according to a post on Qinhan Micro-Mobility's WeChat account.The Xixian base mainly produces power battery cells and packs and will provide localized battery supply for BYD' s vehicle manufacturing operations in Xi' an.

Its production process covers electrode preparation, cell formation, module assembly, battery-pack integration and system testing, with an MES intelligent manufacturing system used across the facility.
Regional supply chain
The project has also contributed to the concentration of upstream and downstream companies in the intelligent connected vehicle supply chain in the Zhouling advanced manufacturing area. BYD and more than 40 supporting companies have established operations there, according to the source.
