On the technology front, HERO 2.0 integrates several industry-first optical and acoustic modules. Its making its global debut Micro LED PHUD panoramic head-up display delivers 50,000 nits of brightness, supports AI voice and gesture control, and achieves a 98% recognition rate for complex commands. A 15.6-inch automotive-grade UB Cell center display offers high contrast with low reflectance. The world's first intelligent standalone in-vehicle amplifier uses real-time AI audio restoration and, paired with CDR hybrid digital radio, ensures high-quality audio transmission and emergency communications even without mobile network coverage.

For interaction, the system blends multi-touch, voice interaction, vision-based control and gesture operations in a multimodal setup to realize a domain-controlled cockpit. Users can adjust the dimmable sunroof, order food delivery, manage climate control and smart home devices via the center display, and extend work and entertainment scenarios with an in-cabin projector and a UB Cell smart wood-grain table.

BOE also showcased the latest advances from its three display technology brands: ADS Pro, f-OLED and α-MLED.

  • In the ADS Pro area, a dual-screen cockpit solution based on UB Cell and BD Cell made its debut, balancing high contrast with low power consumption.

  • The f-OLED area marked the global debut of an all-OLED smart cockpit for the entire vehicle, featuring a 17-inch rollable OLED terminal that switches between tablet and large-screen modes.

  • The α-MLED area unveiled a COG glass-based P0.9 Micro LED all-in-one with a 20,000:1 contrast ratio, alongside a 300,000-nit glass-based Micro LED PHUD and a Micro LED full-color wood-grain hidden display, among other technologies.

Under the "AI-powered displays" theme, BOE exhibited multiple AI-integrated products, including the C100 series AI all-in-one devices supporting multimodal interaction, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint smart car key, and AI cycling glasses with built-in camera and audio functions.

Green and low-carbon solutions formed the other pillar of BOE’s exhibit. More than 20 energy-saving products were on display, including a 14.6-inch IGZO oxide low-frequency automotive display that cuts power use and annual carbon emissions by 50%, and a 12.03-inch PHUD with a 25% boost in luminous efficiency. BOE Varitronix has obtained ISO 50001 energy management and ISO 14001 environmental management system certifications, while the Chengdu and Heyuan manufacturing bases were named provincial-level green factories.

By deeply integrating display technologies with IoT use cases and working with ecosystem partners, BOE is accelerating iterations in smart cockpits and green mobility systems.
