China Auto Export Recovery after 5 Months Decline

China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said on 11 Nov that Chinese auto company exported in Oct was 89.5 thousand, which has increased 14.7% over last month, and 3.3% growth over last year. It stops 5 months continuous decline. From products perspective, passenger car export is still lower than figure of the same time of last year. Commercial car export increases 19.8%, which contributes to auto industry export increase.

In the first 10 months of this year, Chinese auto export volume reaches 806.2 thousand, which has decreased 7.5% over last year. Decrease margin narrows 1.3 percentages than the figure of the first 9 month average. Passenger car export reaches 492.4 thousand, which has decreased 10%. And commercial car exports 313.8 thousand, which has decreased 3.2%.

What’s more, according to China Association of Automobile Manufacturersstatistics, in the first 9 months of this year, Chinese auto accumulated export and importtrade capital volume is 116.64 billion dollars, which has decreased 0.3%. Import capital volume is 58.72 billion dollars, which has decreased 4%, and decrease margin keeps narrowing. Meanwhile, Export capital volume is 57.92 billion dollars, which has increased 3.9%. Growth has slow down over the first 8 months.

In the first 9 months, China auto has imported 846.2 thousand, which has decreased 6.1%. SUV import increases 1.4%, but sedan import decreases 15.6%. Small bus import increases 14.4%. Meanwhile, three above cars import are 821.8 thousand, which takes 97.1% of import total volume, which slightly higher than last year.
