This facility represents the core outcome of a strategic partnership between Chuhang Tech and Malaysian listed company MCE Holdings Berhad. The new plant will focus on the R&D and production of various millimeter-wave radar products for smart mobility, aiming to advance radar technology for intelligent driver assistance systems across Malaysia and South Asia.
Chuhang Tech plans to use Malaysia as a regional hub to serve the broader South Asian market. The company has already secured project orders from local automaker Perodua, with mass production and deliveries slated to begin in 2025 — positioning it as one of the few Chinese manufacturers exporting millimeter-wave radar products. Furthermore, its entire lineup of 60GHz life-detection radars has passed rigorous audits, including EU CE certification. These products meet the direct sensing requirements for Child Presence Detection (CPD) set by Euro NCAP, marking significant progress in export compliance.
Beyond Malaysia, Chuhang Tech has expanded into other overseas markets, including India and South Korea, and has established strategic cooperation agreements with select Japanese and Korean automakers. With the launch of the Malaysian base, Chuhang Tech's global operational network is now more complete, underscoring its commitment to providing technical support for a safer smart mobility ecosystem.
