Gasgoo Munich- On May 9, Daimon Robotics and SONAUOX signed a strategic cooperation agreement.
Building on earlier collaboration in robotic manipulation and data acquisition, the two companies are elevating ties to a long-term strategic partnership. Moving forward, they will deepen collaboration across several fronts. These include deploying embodied AI applications, collecting tactile multimodal data, and training robotic manipulation models. They will also focus on upgrading production line intelligence and expanding globally. Together, they aim to drive tactile perception technology from laboratory validation toward industrial implementation.

Under the cooperation roadmap, priority will be placed on joint verification in automotive electronics manufacturing. This specifically covers precision assembly, flexible grasping, complex process operations, and quality inspection alongside data collection. The goal is to build embodied AI solutions tailored for industrial manufacturing. By leveraging data from production line tasks, model iteration, and engineering verification, partners will explore stable robot operation in complex environments. This effort seeks to move embodied AI from technological breakthroughs toward scenario-based deployment.
In April, Daimon joined forces with SONAUOX and dozens of domestic and international organizations to release the world's largest tactile multimodal physical world dataset. Covering tactile, visual, motion trajectory, and command data, the release aims to accelerate the transition of embodied AI. It bridges model development and scenario training to industrial deployment. This latest strategic partnership will further integrate data collection and model training with real-world industrial tasks. It provides a continuously evolving environment for robots operating in complex manufacturing scenarios.
