Spanning 167,000 square meters, the park focuses on two frontiers: smart cockpits and intelligent driving. Its main products include in-vehicle displays, smart interaction systems, and components for high-level autonomous driving. Guided by a design philosophy of "one point, two corridors, three zones," the facility integrates production, R&D, and residential functions to build a highly efficient, collaborative smart industrial community.
The project moved swiftly from site selection in 2022 and signing in 2023, to groundbreaking in 2024 and final commissioning in 2025. Notably, the entire construction timeline came in six months ahead of schedule.
At the opening ceremony, Desay SV Chairman and President Gao Dapeng said the Chengdu park carries a dual mission: deepening the company’s roots in the Southwest, serving the nation, and connecting globally. Domestically, the facility will leverage mature manufacturing capabilities to support automakers in central and western China. Internationally, it aims to use the region’s strategic location to export high-quality products, serving as a key pivot for global expansion.
Once fully operational, the park will plug supply gaps for high-end automotive electronics and core smart driving components. It aims to diversify the local manufacturing landscape and refine upstream and downstream supply chains, injecting fresh momentum into the regional economy. Additionally, Desay SV plans to deepen collaboration with local universities to create a talent hub for the Southwest’s smart automotive sector—using industry to attract talent and talent to empower the industry, driving the region’s industrial capabilities to new heights.
