Gasgoo Munich- Ecarx Tech (Nasdaq: ECX) announced on September 17 that its smart technology solutions have now been integrated into more than 12 million vehicles worldwide. The company's partnerships span 18 OEMs and 28 brands, with its technology deployed across 159 countries and regions.
In the first half of 2026 alone, Ecarx added 914,000 new installations. Its roster of partners includes major domestic and international automakers such as Geely Auto, FAW Hongqi, smart, Lotus, Polestar, Volvo Cars, Renault, and Volkswagen.

Leveraging a comprehensive in-vehicle intelligence system, Ecarx provides automakers with core technical support for smart cockpits, OS-level software solutions, central computing platforms, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
In the software arena, adoption of Ecarx's Flyme Auto smart cockpit operating system is gaining steady ground. From January to August, Flyme Auto saw installations increase by over 1.172 million units, bringing its global cumulative total past 3.439 million.
Driven by this surge in installations, Ecarx's financial performance continues to improve. According to the company's second-quarter 2026 financial report, total revenue reached $225 million — a 45% year-over-year increase. Product sales climbed 50% to $196 million, while service revenue rose 21% to $28.1 million.
Profitability strengthened in tandem, with gross margins expanding from 10.8% a year earlier to 19.8%. Gross profit surged 165% year-over-year. With these results, Ecarx has now achieved overall profitability for four consecutive quarters.
