FAW Toyota's new Vios is expected to make its debut at the Chengdu Auto Show, and prices range from 90,000 to 120,000 yuan ($13,266 to $17,689).
The new Vios will come in two categories: 1.3L and 1.5L. The 1.3L model is equipped with 2NZ engine, while the 1.5L with the 1ZR, both derivant of Toyota Corolla.
The to-be-launched-soon model basically retains the same characteristics as the old one, only differing in exterior appearance. Both the radiator grille and the foglight border adopt a chromium material.
It is equipped with both 5-speed manual transmission (MT) and 4-speed automatic transmission (AT).
