Dow Jones Newswires (Toronto) - Fiat SpA (F.MI) Chief Executive Sergio Marchionne reiterated Fiat's interest in acquiring the Canadian government's 1.7% stake in Chrysler Group LLC, and the Canadian government indicated Monday that it's amenable to the possibility.
"We have to look out for good value for Canadian taxpayers," Canadian Finance Minister Jim Flaherty said Monday at a press conference at a Toronto Chrysler plant, where he was joined by Marchionne.
