Foton Invests 3.2 Billion into New Plant at Foshan, Produces Pickup and Truck

Foton Motor announced that the company signed with San Shui District government of Foshan City Guang Dong Province. It plans to invest 3.2 billion into Foshan to build a new production base. It mainly produces pickups and trucks, and annually productivity of the plant is about 240 thousand. It is the third time Foton enlarges its production bases in Southern China after Southern Sea plant and Ouhui passenger auto Plant.

Sapu plant which located in Southern Sea District of Foshan will move to San Shui plant after it finished. At present, pickup series Tunland and Sup are made in Sup plant. What’ more, Foshan production base will product SUV of Foton as well. As far as it known, Foton is researching a SUV model, it is road testing already.
