Huajing S goes on sale as SGMW, Huawei co-developed 6-seat SUV

SAIC-GM-Wuling on May 8 officially put the Huajing S, a new six-seat SUV jointly developed with Huawei's Qiankun intelligent automotive division, onto the market, while also unveiling Huajing as a standalone vehicle brand under the joint venture.

The Huajing S enters the market with four trim levels priced between 149,800 yuan and 193,800 yuan under the company's trade-in subsidy program. All variants adopt plug-in hybrid powertrains and come standard with Huawei Qiankun ADS Pro advanced driver-assistance technology, including urban navigation-assisted driving functions available from launch.

BYD Has Built 5,924 Flash Charging Stations, User Base Surpasses 1 Million

BYD released the latest operational data for its flash charging business, revealing that as of May 6, the company has built 5,924 flash charging stations nationwide, covering 311 cities. Downloads of the flash charging app have surpassed 1 million. Between March 6 and May 6, the cumulative charging volume at these stations exceeded 21 million kWh.

These figures signal that BYD's "Flash Charging China" strategy is moving from concept to large-scale deployment. Both the expansion pace of its energy replenishment network and user adoption have entered a new phase.
