Leapmotor enters Mexico, marks its debut in North America
On July 6, Leapmotor officially entered the Mexican market, marking the start of its expansion into North America. Its first model, the B10, has completed local homologation and is now being delivered to customers. Consumers can experience and purchase the vehicle through more than 40 authorized dealerships nationwide.
Before its market launch, the B10 underwent more than a year of localization testing at Stellantis' engineering and validation center in Mexico. The vehicle was specifically calibrated to handle the country's diverse driving conditions—including high-altitude regions, deserts, and tropical rainforests—and successfully met all local regulatory requirements.
According to the company's roadmap, the C10 and C16 will also be introduced to the Mexican market, broadening Leapmotor's product lineup for family and mainstream mobility needs.
Leveraging Stellantis' established local network, Leapmotor has already built a sales network of more than 40 authorized outlets, with plans to expand further into secondary and tertiary cities. After-sales services will be supported by Mopar, which brings more than 85 years of industry experience.
