General Motors Co. Chief Executive Fritz Henderson is scrambling to fill a “power vacuum” at its Opel division with a temporary manager, Handelsblatt reported.

Henderson is considering appointing Bob Lutz, currently vice chairman at GM, or David Reilly, who previously led the U.K. operations, until GM can find a German to fill the post permanently, the newspaper said.
