Gasgoo Munich- On March 16, Hesai Technology announced it is deepening its strategic partnership with Neolix. The two companies will tighten collaboration in the realm of L4 autonomous urban delivery, aiming to accelerate the mass production and commercial operation of unmanned delivery vehicles.

Under the agreement, Hesai will remain Neolix’s largest LiDAR supplier, providing a full suite of automotive-grade solutions for the startup’s new generation of L4 RoboVans. The package includes the high-performance, long-range ATX and the near-field fill-in FTX LiDARs, which will be equipped across all of Neolix’s mass-produced and commercially operated fleets.
The partnership between Hesai and Neolix dates back to September 2021, with both companies having cultivated the smart delivery equipment sector for years. This latest move serves to consolidate and upgrade their previous achievements.
As the core perception component for unmanned delivery, LiDAR directly dictates a vehicle’s environmental awareness and operational safety. Hesai's solution establishes a comprehensive perception system combining long-range detection and near-field blind-spot coverage, offering robust support for Neolix's safe operations.
The high-performance ATX features a compact, lightweight design with a maximum detection range of 230 meters. Powered by a proprietary waveform decoding engine, it filters out over 99.9% of environmental noise, handling complex conditions like rain, fog, and night driving. Meanwhile, the fill-in LiDAR FTX boasts an ultra-wide field of view of 180°×140° at just 160 grams, precisely capturing pedestrians and obstacles in close-range blind spots to complement the ATX.
Both products have passed rigorous automotive-grade reliability validation and comply with standards such as ISO 26262, meeting the all-weather, all-scenario operational demands of unmanned delivery vehicles.
As a leader in China's unmanned delivery sector, Neolix has delivered 10,000 units and operates the country’s first L4 intelligent manufacturing facility for autonomous vehicles, having already achieved large-scale commercial deployment.
Hesai’s deep integration will further enhance the perception performance and reliability of Neolix’s new generation L4 urban delivery vehicles while driving down the costs of large-scale operations.
The partnership also solidifies Hesai’s position as a leading LiDAR supplier in the autonomous vehicle space, promoting the large-scale application of the technology in urban delivery and supporting the high-quality development of the smart logistics industry.
