The partnership will see NETA Auto's new vehicles equipped with Hesai's cutting-edge AT128 long-range LiDAR system, with an expected rollout in the first half of 2025.
NETA Auto's Co-founder and CEO, Zhang Yong, emphasized Hesai's status as a global leader in the field of autonomous driving and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) LiDAR technology. This collaboration further solidifies Hesai's crucial role within the NETA PILOT high-end intelligent driving system's perception module, a move poised to elevate the intelligent travel experience in NETA Auto's new vehicle models.
Under the agreement, Hesai will provide NETA Auto's new models with world-class LiDAR technology. The AT128 is an automotive-grade long-range LiDAR designed for ADAS. It boasts an astonishing 1200x128 ultra-high global resolution, provides an immense three-dimensional real-time data output of 1.53 million points per second, achieves long-range measurements of up to 200 meters (@10% reflectivity), and captures intricate object details. Since it went into mass production in 2022, the AT128 was deployed onto multiple high-end passenger vehicle models, with a cumulative delivery volume of more than 130,000 units.
