Gasgoo Munich-Duksan JM Robotics (DSJMR), UBTECH’s South Korean partner, has formally signed a memorandum of understanding with AJIN Industrial, a leading automotive components supplier in the country.
Going forward, UBTECH, Duksan JM Robotics, and AJIN Industrial will collaborate to validate industrial humanoid robots like the Cruzr Y1 and Walker S2 on South Korea’s first automotive parts production line. The initiative aims to push these robots beyond exhibition demos and into real-world industrial applications.

Under the latest roadmap, AJIN Industrial is set to launch a proof-of-concept (POC) project for the Cruzr Y1 and Walker S2 robots in August 2026 at its newly opened Manufacturing Innovation Factory. The move signals a shift for UBTECH’s humanoid robots from trade show displays to actual automotive parts manufacturing, allowing the company to gather critical data and hands-on experience for future large-scale deployment.
AJIN Industrial stands as a key client for Duksan JM Robotics in the industrial humanoid robot sector. This signing not only deepens their partnership but also completes an ecosystem loop combining UBTECH’s core technology with localized Korean service and top-tier manufacturing scenarios.
Known as the "Humanoid Robot First Stock," UBTECH generated total revenue of RMB 2.001 billion in 2025 — a 53.3% year-on-year increase that secured the top spot globally. Full-size embodied AI humanoid robots emerged as the company’s largest revenue driver, bringing in RMB 820 million, a surge of 2,203.7%. Sales reached 1,079 units, an increase of 35,866.7%.
Driving this growth, UBTECH’s humanoid robots have been deployed across industrial sectors such as automotive manufacturing, smart logistics, 3C electronics, semiconductors, aviation, and industrial data collection. These industrial applications now account for over 80% of the total, with a client roster that includes numerous Fortune 500 companies.
This year, UBTECH expanded its portfolio with the Walker C1, designed for commercial use, and the "U World U1," a full-size ultra-bionic humanoid robot focused on emotional companionship. The company is now one of the few embodied AI enterprises globally to span three major application scenarios: industrial manufacturing, commercial services, and home companionship.
