Shanghai December 10 (Gasgoo.com) Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co., Ltd. (JAC) said vehicle sales surged 46.2% in November from a year earlier to 40,600 units, while vehicle production skyrocketed 70.86% on the year to 47,500 units.
In the January to November period, vehicle sales and production totaled 413,600 units and 415,000 units, up 44.56% and 41.69% year on year, respectively, the company said in a statement.
In addition, JAC sold 22,200 engines last month, up 162.96% y/y; and produced 22,100 engines, up 127.61% from year-earlier level.
In the first eleven months, the company reported sales of 145,700 engines, up 94.96% y/y. Engine output in the same period grew by 89.97% from a year earlier to 144,800 sets.
