Joyson Electronics Produces and Delivers Over 2,000 High-Compute Robot Controllers

Editor by Aya From Gasgoo

Gasgoo Munich- Joyson Electronics announced that cumulative production and delivery of its high-computing robot controllers have surpassed 2,000 units, which are integrated into a model from a leading robotics company. The milestone signals that Joyson's core robotics components business is entering a new phase of scaled delivery.

Acting as the robot's "brain," the controller handles critical tasks such as environmental perception, data processing, decision-making, and motion control. Joyson's unit features a mainstream international high-computing chip with a peak performance of 2,070 TOPS. It supports multi-sensor connectivity and complex computational coordination with motion control, enabling adaptation across different robot bodies and scenarios.

Building on this core component, Joyson has also introduced an embodied intelligence brain solution. The system boasts advantages including "one brain, multiple forms," "software-hardware integration," and "full-scenario adaptability."

As humanoid robots transition from prototypes to mass production, procurement of core components like controllers is shifting from small-batch verification to bulk orders. Positioning itself as an "Automotive + Robotics Tier 1," Joyson is leveraging its R&D and manufacturing capabilities for automotive-grade domain controllers in the robotics sector. The company is accelerating the transfer of its automotive-grade development, manufacturing, and quality management standards to the robotics industry to drive scaled production of core components.

Joyson has established a product matrix covering core components such as "large and small brains" for robots, dexterous hands, AI head assemblies, and energy management systems. The company has partnered with leading robotics firms at home and abroad, with multiple core components already in mass production or sampling.

According to its third-quarter financial report, Joyson generated revenue of 41.887 billion yuan and a net profit of 958 million yuan in the first three quarters of 2026. It secured approximately 61.5 billion yuan in new global orders. However, the robotics business remains in a ramp-up phase, contributing limited revenue.
