Shanghai, April 29 (Gasgoo.com) In pursuit of success in China's luxury car market, Kia Motors ushered in its most high-end luxury Cadenza sedan ever at the ongoing 2010 Beijing Auto Show. The car is likely to be sold in China by the end of June this year.

The Cadenza is a strong European-style luxury car, representing Kia brand’s most high-end car-making concept and technology and its prototype is Kia's future flagship model, the all-new KND-5 concept car showcased at the Seoul International Motor Show held in April 2009.

In security, in addition to the high strength steel, rigid body and reinforced car side following the Europe-V standard, the car is also equipped with the Anti-skid Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Brake Asist System (BAS), Traction Control System (TCS), Electro Chromatic Mirrors, Reversing camera and Front and Rear Parking Sensor System with early-warning, in particular the Lane Departure Warning System exclusive for the Chinese market. All the above security configurations serve as a full-time guard for the driver.

The Cadenza car shares the same platform as Kia’s previous all-new Type-N model and is expected to go on sale in the China market in June this year. The car is powered with the 2.4L Theta II engine which has a maximum power of 132kW/rpm (180hp) and a maximum torque of 230Nm/4000rpm, and  which matches the 6-speed manual versus automatic transmission applied to lots of models made by Kia and Hyundai previously.
