Gasgoo Munich-King Display has officially launched the "Tianqiong Dual 17.3-Inch Integrated Smart Screen" for mass production. The display features a seamless, floating metal bezel that shrinks the frame to just 4.5 millimeters on three sides, with a 4-millimeter center joint, achieving a 91.92% screen-to-body ratio. Measuring only 9.0 millimeters thick, the unit incorporates corner bionic buffer supports optimized via AI topology simulation—ensuring structural stability even under extreme thermal and vibrational stress.

To tackle issues like moiré patterns and driver distraction common in large displays, the unit employs a multi-layer composite micro-louver privacy filter. This limits the horizontal viewing angle to ±22 degrees, cutting brightness by 99.7% outside that range while boosting transmittance to 87%. By combining an AI dot-matching algorithm with a 35-degree optical offset calibration, the screen eliminates chromatic aberration without compromising navigation clarity for the driver. Certified under AEC-Q102 automotive standards, the system operates stably from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius and allows dynamic switching between privacy and sharing modes.
The bezel-less architecture yields a 10% weight reduction and a 1.0-millimeter slimmer profile compared to traditional framed models, while vibration resistance improves by 25%. Additionally, power consumption dips by 3% and overall costs fall by 1.5%.
A display subsidiary of state-owned Kaisheng Technology, King Display controls the entire supply chain—from quartz sand and glass substrates to 3A coating, backlight modules, and final screen assembly. The Tianqiong Dual 17.3-Inch Integrated Smart Screen is now in full mass production, with vehicle models featuring the display set to debut soon.
