Gasgoo Munich-Xiaomi Founder, Chairman and CEO Lei Jun posted a milestone update on Weibo on Feb. 11. "We calculated the data," he wrote. "From the first delivery in April 2024 to February 2026, the first-generation SU7 delivered over 381,000 units in under two years."

During a livestream on Feb. 10, Lei Jun revealed that production of the original SU7 ended officially. Manufacturing lines are undergoing retrofitting to prepare for mass production of the next-generation model.
The next-generation SU7 opened for pre-orders on Jan. 7. All pre-launch research, development and testing are complete. According to the official roadmap, display vehicles will begin arriving in seven major cities starting Feb. 13: Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Chengdu and Wuhan.
Positioned as a luxury high-performance pure electric sedan, the new model is priced between 229,900 and 309,900 yuan. The official market launch is scheduled for April 2026. The company promises a comprehensive upgrade in product capability. Key highlights include the debut of a "Capri Blue" exterior. The lineup features standard LiDAR to ensure "hardware parity" for advanced driver-assistance systems. It also offers a significant breakthrough in driving range and more sophisticated smart chassis and cockpit systems.
On the technical front, the new SU7 replaces the previous V6 and V6s motors with the V6s Plus super motor across the entire lineup. In terms of output, the Standard and Pro variants see maximum power increase from 220 kW (299 horsepower) to 235 kW (320 horsepower). The Max version’s combined output rises from 495 kW (673 horsepower) to 507 kW (690 horsepower).
Regarding intelligent driving, the next-generation SU7 comes standard with LiDAR and a driver-assistance chip delivering 700 TOPS of computing power. This is an increase of approximately 38% over the previous peak of 508 TOPS. Additionally, the entire lineup will feature the upgraded Xiaomi HAD system, further unifying the intelligent driving experience.
