Gasgoo Munich-On September 24 that Momenta has entered a global strategic partnership with Dongfeng Stellantis Automotive Technology (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. (DSAT). The two will jointly develop an advanced driver-assistance system based on Momenta' s R7 world model. The system will be equipped on new mass-production Peugeot and Jeep models launching in China, Europe, and other global markets, accelerating the smart transformation of Stellantis' mainstream brands.
Unlike a standard supplier agreement, this partnership adopts a "co-creation and global sharing" model. Momenta is integrated into the product definition and full vehicle development process for Peugeot and Jeep. By tuning chassis parameters and adapting driving scenarios to Peugeot' s handling and Jeep' s off-road positioning, the company aims to equip international brand models with intelligent driving capabilities refined in China.

After multiple rounds of technical evaluation by DSAT, Momenta was selected. Its core competitive edge lies in a unified underlying model architecture: it covers Level 2 to Level 4 driving capabilities while adapting to diverse road conditions in China and abroad—aligning with global automakers' product development needs.
This collaboration marks a dual breakthrough, moving from zero to one. It represents the first deployment of high-level intelligent driving for Peugeot and Jeep, and serves as a key example of the "In China, for Global" development model for domestic intelligent driving firms.
Leveraging Stellantis' global sales network, Momenta' s solution will enter European and overseas markets. Data from these overseas driving scenarios will feed back into the world model' s iteration, creating a virtuous cycle of technology and data. Momenta has reportedly established partnerships with the world' s top ten automakers. Looking toward the 2028 inflection point for the global high-level intelligent driving industry, Momenta aims to maintain a clear lead.
Lv Haitao, general manager of DSAT, said the partnership blends Peugeot' s driving dynamics and Jeep' s off-road heritage with leading intelligent technology—products that will launch in China before expanding overseas.
Cao Xudong, CEO of Momenta, noted that this partnership signals recognition of China' s physical AI technology by international mainstream automakers, marking the rise of Chinese AI as a key player in the global automotive intelligence revolution.
