Japanese auto maker Nissan Motor Co. will start trial production of its global small car at its Chennai plant in India in November, the Press Trust of India reported Wednesday, citing an unnamed source familiar with the development.
"More than 30 units will be produced in the first trial production that will commence in November," the PTI quoted the source as saying.
A spokesperson for Nissan Motor India declined to comment, the PTI reported.
