Over 2m automobiles recalled in China so far in 2014

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai September 25) - A total of 6,692 automobile-related complaints have been received by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine so far this year, the Beijing Youth Daily reported today. These complains have forced 70 different manufacturers to issue a total of 119 automobile recalls this year; the total amount of automobiles implicated in this recalls is 2.02 million. AQSIQ's defective product investigations triggered 55 percent of these recalls, leading to the recalls of 1.12 million automobiles.
