China posted a YoY surge of 142% and a MoM growth of 30% in new energy passenger vehicle sales to 92,188 units in May, according to the data released by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).

According to the CPCA, the PV wholesale volume nationwide was 1,850,982 units, rising 8.9% from a year ago, but slightly dropping 1.1% over a month ago. SAIC VW, SAIC-GM and FAW-VW still occupied the first three places by May wholesale volume.
