Haima applies for over 10b yuan in credit, sight set on reforming dealership network

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai June 18) - Hainan-based Haima Automobile is entering a new phase this year. "We have applied for credit from banks to support [our] dealership network," Haima Automobile General Manager Wu Gang revealed at the launch of the Haima S7, China Business Journal reported today. According to official statements made before and after the event, Haima has applied for a total of 10.9 billion yuan ($1.77b) in credit from various banks. Haima has previously been tight-lipped regarding the details of the loans, which has led to wild speculation across the Chinese automotive industry.
