Toyota announced on Thursday a recall of almost 136,000 compact cars in Japan and Europe to fix a steering problem. The automaker, which was battered by a global safety crisis earlier this year, says it will recall 65,000 compact iQ and Passo cars in Japan and about 70,800 in Europe, all of them built between 2008 and 2010.

Currently, the new plant has plans for a production capacity of more than a million timing chain systems, including tensioners. We can equip about one million engines with our products. Our main customers in China are the car manufacturers SAIC, DongFeng, Foton, Geely, Great Wall and also BMW.
