By now, Shanghai Volkswagen cumulative sales of the first 8 months of this year has reached 1,022,008, breaking the million sales 2 months earlier compared to last year.
Shanghai Volkswagen branch brand sales totaled 115,284 vehicles in August, an increase of 33.2% year-on-year. New Santana August sales were180, 40, leading the whole Santana brand to breakthrough 20,000 car sales, growing 26% year-on-year. Passat August sales were 22,201, growing 25% year-on-year. Lang Yat August sales were 39,450, while the newly launched Lang Yat August sales were 24,945. Langxing August achieved 10,247 sales, and new Tiguan 16,996, rising by 23%. 2013 Polo August sales achieved 10,704, increasing by 40%.
Skoda brand sales in August also maintained a steady growth, with single-month sales 17,797, and the former eight total sales 149,097 vehicles. Intermediate automobile Octavia sales totaled 8,849 vehicles in August, in January-August this year the sales accumulated 80,974. Rapid sales in August reached 4,254 vehicles.
