Shenda Auto Parts Breaks Ground on New Energy Vehicle Project in Suzhou Suxiang Cooperation Zone

Gasgoo Munich- Suzhou Shenda Auto Parts Co., Ltd. broke ground on its new energy vehicle project in the Suxiang Cooperation Zone of Suzhou Industrial Park on April 8, according to Gasgoo.

Founded in July 1999, Suzhou Shenda is a high-tech firm specializing in the R&D and manufacturing of automotive after-treatment systems. For years, it has supplied major domestic and international automakers, including JAC and Foton.

The facility carries a total investment of 160 million yuan and spans 26,000 square meters. It will house a modern complex integrating offices, R&D, and production, with a focus on critical components like thermal management systems and electronic water pumps for new energy vehicles. The company says the project will prioritize technological innovation, smart manufacturing, and low-carbon operations to boost capacity and quality, accelerating its strategic transition.

Auto parts and manufacturing are pillar industries for the Suxiang Cooperation Zone, which has attracted leading firms like Fuyao Glass, Lisheng Auto, and Fawoke Auto as they accelerate toward electrification and intelligence. The arrival of Shenda’s NEV project will further strengthen the local supply chain, injecting fresh momentum into the region’s industrial upgrade.
