The Daye facility serves as a strategic hub for SVOLT Energy in Central China, designed to supply markets nationwide. It stands out as one of the fastest-to-launch integrated module and pack projects domestically. Equipped with two module lines and one pack line, the plant is projected to generate roughly 2 billion yuan in annual output value once fully operational.

Construction moved at a blistering pace. Breaking ground in February 2026, the plant saw production equipment arrive for final commissioning by June. The first unit rolled off the line just five months later, on July 20.

Output will primarily supply local and nearby automakers, covering models such as the GWM Gaoshan in Daye and the GWM Tank in Jingmen. This launch works in tandem with SVOLT Power's hybrid engine project, which produced its first units in early June 2026. Together, they fill critical gaps in powertrain and battery supply for Daye's new energy vehicle chain, helping the region close the industrial loop.
