Toyota Motor Corp is considering building a new, small hybrid car model at its northern French site of Valenciennes, La Tribune reported on Monday, citing its own sources.
La Tribune said the new hybrid model could be launched by 2012. The site now produces the Yaris model.
Earlier this month, Toyota slipped to its third quarterly loss in a row.
