Toyota Motor Corp. plans to more than double the amount of Chinese dealerships offering car loans in the next two years by expanding into inland areas of the nation, Nikkei English News reported, without saying where it got the information.
The company lends at 300 dealerships in 40 Chinese cities, Nikkei said. Toyota’s goal is to offer loans at 800 dealerships in 60 cities by the end of next fiscal year, Nikkei said.
