Gasgoo Munich- UISEE, based in Shanghai's Jiading district, has struck a strategic partnership with Lufthansa. The deal was unveiled during the GSE Expo Europe 2026 in Lisbon, Portugal. Together, the companies plan to launch a Level 4 autonomous driving project at Munich Airport in Germany.

Under the agreement, the two firms will collaborate on intelligent ground operations, the digital transformation of civil aviation, and green aviation initiatives. Their goal is to jointly develop and refine smart civil aviation solutions that meet global standards. Munich Airport, one of Europe's largest hubs, ranked among the top 10 in SkyTrax's 2026 list of the world's best airports.
Wu Gansha, co-founder, chairman, and CEO of UISEE, said the company will leverage its proven Level 4 autonomous products and operational systems to explore how to deploy tarmac automation within an international airline framework. Moving forward, UISEE plans to deepen its investment in core civil aviation autonomous technologies, refining standardized solutions tailored for high-end global airports and international carriers.
Lufthansa is Europe's largest aviation enterprise, with a business spanning passenger transport, cargo, ground handling, and technical services across a network that reaches more than 100 countries and regions on six continents. This partnership marks the entry of Chinese autonomous driving technology into the international airline ecosystem. Together, the companies will map out specific pathways for deploying autonomous vehicles on the tarmac within global airline operations.
