Beijing (Gasgoo)- On December 15, Dongfeng Motor’s premium new energy vehicle brand VOYAH officially introduced its first battery-electric sedan model, the Zhuiguang ("chasing the light" in Chinese).

Coming with three variants, the Zhuiguang features a pre-sale price range of 322,900 yuan to 432,900 yuan ($46,320-$62,100). According to VOYAH, the Zhuiguang is expected to officially hit the market and be delivered in the first half of 2023.

The new sedan features a leading 8-layer flat wire electric motor design, which allows the vehicle to burst out a maximum power of 375kW and a peak torque of 730N·m. The Zhuiguang can zip from standstill to 100km/h in only 3.8 seconds.
The three trim levels are installed with different battery packs, from 82kW·h to 109kW·h, offering a CLTC-rated range of 580km and 730km, respectively. The automaker commented that the Zhuiguang can charge for up to 230km of range in a 10-minute charging session.

Intelligence-wise, the Zhuiguang sedan is armed with VOYAH’s proprietary ADAS suite, which performs L2.9 autonomous driving capabilities with over 30 intelligent driving functions. The system helps the sedan realize smart point-to-point assisted driving under highway and expressway scenarios. Moreover, all variants of the model come standard with AR-HUD, which supports the display of more than 30 traffic information, ensuring safety while providing convenience.
