Gasgoo Munich-Xiaomi Pengcheng's official Weibo account has set a date: July 30 at 7 PM. The tech event will formally unveil the "Xiaomi Kunlun Technology Architecture," built on three pillars—the Kunlun platform, a super range-extender system, and full-domain safety. Joining the reveal are two intelligent, versatile SUVs: the N90 Max, a large seven-seat flagship range-extender, and the N70 Max, a large five-seat all-wheel-drive range-extender.

Turning to the N90 Max, officials highlighted its structural safety design. The vehicle features an armored cage structure, utilizing 2,200 MPa ultra-high-strength steel across 16 critical points, with a roof capable of withstanding nearly 14 tons of pressure. It also employs a one-piece hot-stamped door ring that spans the first to third rows and wraps around all A, B, C, and D pillars. This design boosts load-bearing capacity by 19% during side-pole collisions compared to traditional welding methods.
On the flexibility front, the N90 Max uses extra-long seat rails made from 7-series reinforced aluminum alloy. These rails boast a maximum locking strength of 54,000 N and a peel strength of 57,000 N, having passed 15,000 cycle tests without any loosening. The brand demonstrated two practical scenarios: even with seven passengers, there's room for seven 20-inch suitcases; or, with the second and third rows pushed fully forward, the cabin can swallow two 25-inch road bikes—perfect for weekend cycling or camping trips.
Regarding the naming backstory, Xiaomi Auto unveiled the "SkyNomad" series on July 8. The company has since registered the "Xiaomi Pengcheng" handle across platforms including WeChat, WeChat Channels, and Bilibili. Its English name aligns with SkyNomad, which the company defines as "Sky, Nomad—a new name for space and life."
