BYD Thailand plant rolls off its 70,000th vehicle
BYD’s Thailand plant produced its 70,000th vehicle, a BYD Sealion 6.
The plant took 16 months from groundbreaking to first vehicle rollout, and another 16 months to reach 70,000 units.
Production scaled from 10,000 units (Nov 2024) to 70,000 in 12 months.
The facility supports both local supply and exports to Europe and the Asia-Pacific via BYD’s own ro-ro shipping.
Thai employees account for 92%+ of the workforce, with a focus on local talent development, safety, and quality systems.
The milestone vehicle was delivered to an internal employee.
The factory will continue localization, and smart & green upgrades, strengthening BYD’s global expansion model of local manufacturing + global export.
AITO achieves record 51,706 deliveries in November
In November 2025, AITO delivered 51,706 vehicles, hitting a record monthly volume.
Cumulative deliveries for the brand have exceeded 900,000 units.
