BYD Thailand plant rolls off its 70,000th vehicle

  • Production scaled from 10,000 units (Nov 2024) to 70,000 in 12 months.

    • 40,000+ orders within 24 hours; 60,000+       within one week

    • Passed 30,000 deliveries by Nov 20; leads ¥350,000+       midsize–large SUVs

    • Current monthly production capability: 20,000–30,000 units       (dual-shift)

  • The new M7 offers EV and EREV versions, CLTC 705 km      EV / 1300–1500 km extended-range, all equipped with Huawei      ADS 4 and 30 sensors.

XPENG X9 debuts Huawei’s next-gen DriveONE range-extender generator

XPENG and Huawei jointly announced the global debut of Huawei DriveONE next-generation range-extender generator on the XPENG X9 Super Range-Extended model.

Key performance specs:

  • 1.88 kW/kg continuous power density

  • ≥92% working-condition charging      efficiency

  • Supports seamless range-extending experience

Developed to address inefficiencies in traditional systems such as low charging efficiency, limited EV range, delayed power response, and NVH issues.

When paired with a 1.5T range-extender engine, maximum output reaches 85 kW.

Equipped with:

  • Active cylinder deactivation to      reduce noise/vibration

  • De-resolver control strategy for      operational stability across conditions
