Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the Elantra amounted to 9,403 units, up 7 % year on year, the first on August, 2022 sales ranking of A sedans/cars from Korea's brands, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the Elantra Yuedong amounted to 1,935 units, down 19 % year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 19,098 units. August sales of the Forte reached 1,232 units, increasing 10 % year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 14,316 units. (Note: Sales data here includes that of locally-made cars, SUVs and MPVs.)
