BYD set to launch four M6 MPV models in China

The promotion activities for BYD's four M6 MPV models have started now, and consumers who have ordered the models earlier will be offered priority pickup with no additional cost and given other preferential treatment, a person in charge of the BYD store sales said.
BYD M6 MPV, which looks similar to the Toyota Previa, is powered with two kinds of engines. One is the 2.4-liter Mitsubishi 4G69 engine with the maximum power of 118kw/5800rpm and the maximum torque of 215Nm/3500-4500rpm, matching with one of the 4-speed automatic transmissions from Mitsubishi. The other is the 2.0-liter BYD483 engine with the maximum power of 103kw/6000rpm and the maximum torque of186Nm/4000-4500rpm, coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission.
The seven-seater large BYD M6 MPV, which is equipped with the anti-lock braking system (ABS), an automatic sunroof, the global position system (GPS), etc., measures (LxWxH) 4808mm x 1800mm x 1756mm with a wheelbase of 2950mm.

BYD M6 MPV, positioned as a high-end business MPV, will be sold via the A4 network with the BYD I3, I6, e6 and other models. Reportedly, new models to be sold via BYD's A1, A2 and A3 networks have all been launched to the market so far.
