China auto exports in February 2007 increased more than 50%
The latest statistics released by China Association of Automobile Industry shows that from January to February this year, Automobile exports earned an increase of over 50%, which has continued to maintain a rapid growth momentum.
Auto imports in February decreased compared with January, when exports continued to increase, compared with the same period last year, while imports declined, and foreign exchange earning from exports continued to maintain rapid growth. In February, the total import and export volume reached 4.006 billion U.S. dollars, of which imports were 1.282 billion U.S. dollars. 34.38% drop compared with January, decreased 10.05% year-on-year; and foreign exchange earning from exports were 2.724 billion U.S. dollars, a year-on-year increase of 68.84%. Sedan exports which once again topped 10,000 vehicles, reaching 10,039 vehicles.
