Volvo Cars China offers price reduction as high as 55% for 11,693 parts

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Volvo Cars China announced on July 2 that the premium automaker will lower the suggested retail prices for 11,693 auto parts since July 2. Moreover, the price reduction of auto parts can reach as high as 55%. Since the new tariff policy has reduced the price of a total of 10,941 auto parts involving 79 tax codes, Volvo would like to give the bonus brought by the tariff reduction to customers, which can be interpreted as a preferential price reduction for all after Volvo reduced the prices for all of its imported vehicle models.

In the meantime, Volvo will also cut the prices for various commonly-used parts and accessories, which are excluded from the list of tariff reduction, covering aluminum alloy wheel hubs, air conditioner filter element, brake pad and water pump.

The parts price reduction will help improve Volvo's cost efficiency of customer service. Particularly, in the areas of maintenance, the price of the air conditioner filter element, which customers concern most, will be reduced by 20%. The wiper blade for the full lineup of its models enjoyed a reduction as high as 40%. In addition, Volvo will continue to provide preferential maintenance, depending on vehicles' using age. Vehicles with a using age of three to five years, five to eight years, and over eight years will gain RMB 200, RMB 400 and RMB 600 per year respectively.

Volvo not only cuts vehicle prices for customers, but also provides outstanding customer services with its completed service system. In the first quarter of this year, Volvo put forward an extended maintenance and a service contract, which were highly favored by car owners.
