Lynk & Co likely to launch 7 new models in 2020
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Lynk & Co, a Chinese-Swedish automotive brand owned by Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, is ambitious to roll out 7 new models in China in 2020. It has so far deployed three major models—the Lynk & Co 01, 02 and 03, as well as their PHEV versions and the 03+.
The next ones to be launched into market are said to be the Lynk & Co 05 and 06. The former one is expected to debut at the 2020 Beijing auto show and the latter is likely to be launched in the second half of 2020.

According to the patent images exposed by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the Lynk & Co 05, based on the CMA (Compact Modular Architecture) platform jointly developed by Volvo and Geely, features a fastback style of coupe SUV, while its front face still retains Lynk & Co family's iconic design.
Besides, the PHEV version of the Lynk & Co 05 is supposed to hit the market. Its powertrain combines a 132kW 1.5-litre turbocharged engine with a plug-in hybrid system for a combined fuel consumption of 1.3 litres per 100 kilometers.

It is said that the automaker is developing an E-segment 7-seater luxury SUV code-named EX11, which features the similar size to the Volvo XC90. Some local media outlets said the new model is expected to be the Lynk & Co 06, which is designed to rival premium models like the Lexus RX.
The EX11 will be built on the DMA (D-segment modular architecture) platform, an automobile platform jointly developed by Geely and Volvo for premium vehicles and NEVs. According to Geely, the DMA platform is created on the basis of the CMA platform, and will focus on B-segment SUVs and SUVs in larger segment.
