Gasgoo Munich- PIA Automation's subsidiary Puzhi Future Robotics recently announced the formal launch of Puzhi Robotics (Wuxi) Co., Ltd., according to a post on PIA Automation's WeChat account. The new unit kicked off operations with a ceremony marking the start of mass production for industrial-grade interactive embodied robots.
The new Wuxi facility boasts an annual capacity of more than 2,000 units, according to a company executive. Achieving mass production of these industrial-grade interactive embodied robots marks a significant breakthrough for PIA Automation in tackling persistent industry pain points—specifically the lack of flexibility, low reusability, and weak generalization in traditional automation. This move further solidifies the company's technological moat, which integrates industrial application, frontier R&D, and independent production, enabling it to deliver replicable, scalable intelligent solutions for flexible manufacturing upgrades.
The establishment of Puzhi Robotics (Wuxi) represents a key strategic step for PIA Automation in the Yangtze River Delta region. Looking ahead, the company plans to keep its focus on industrial applications, continuously iterating its intelligent toolchains. The goal is to drive the reliable, efficient, and large-scale deployment of AI execution intelligence in increasingly complex industrial environments.
