Shanghai (Gasgoo)- VOYAH, a young brand embodying Dongfeng Motor's ambition to move upscale in EV area, is going to showcase the concept of its first mass-produced model at the Auto China 2020 that is to kick off next week.

According to the tease photos released by Dongfeng Motor, the yet-to-be-unveiled concept largely retains the overall design language of the “i-Land”, VOYAH's first full-electric concept launched on July 26. The headlight cluster stretching across the vivifying front and the yacht-styled floating bonnet make it a pretty compelling vehicle.

Other products and technologies to be exhibited at the grand motor show include an intelligent cockpit and the ESSA native smart electric architecture.

Positioned as a “truly anxiety-free high-end smart EV brand”, VOYAH had been in stealth mode for about two years before its official unveiling on July 17. It formally unveiled its strategy and first concept, the VOYAH i-Land, in Wuhan on July 29.

The i-Land concept offers a glimpse into VOYAH's future vehicles built on the ESSA (Electric, Smart & Secure Architecture) that is based on the EIC technology, and integrates WindLink 4.0 intelligent network connection, L3 and higher-level intelligent driving and other core configurations. The vehicle tries to convey an upscale essence with quite a few trendy design elements such as the wing-like headlights, the gull-wing doors and the yatch-styled engine hood.

Starting from 2021, the brand will roll out at least one new model per year over the next three to five years, covering such segments as PVs, SUVs, MPVs and crossovers.
