Leapmotor scores 893% robust year-on-year hike in June deliveries
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Leapmotor said its new car deliveries reached 3,941 units in June 2021, rocketing 893% year on year, while growing 23% month on month. With 3,745 cars delivered, the T03 accounted for up to 95% of the company's June deliveries.
By the end of June 2021, the EV startup's cumulative deliveries amounted to 21,744 units.

Leapmotor saw its monthly order volume climb 9% from the previous month to 4,107 units in June, which resulted in a total of 21,515 units in year-to-date orders.
Leapmotor has to-date rolled out three mass-produced models, namely the S01, the T03, and the C11. Its product lineup was further enriched by the market launch of the T03 “Shuxiang” (meaning comfort and enjoyment) in mid-June. Priced from 69,800 yuan ($10,770) after subsidies, the new version features a NEDC-rated range of 403km.
Leapmotor is focusing on the in-house development of core technologies related to intelligent connectivity, intelligent driving, battery, e-motor, and electric control unit. It launched the Lingxin 01, the company's self-developed in-car chip designed for autonomous vehicles, and featuring the capability of deep learning and leading computing power.
As of May 31, 2021, Leapmotor had filed application for a total of 1,093 patents, 689 of which have been already authorized.
As for sales and service network, Leapmotor has deployed 158 retailing outlets across China by the end of June 2021.
