NIO joins hands with property developer Times China to deploy NEV-related facilities
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Chinese EV startup NIO and Times China, a leading urban development operator with engagement in China's residential project development, signed a letter of intent on September 8 to form a long-term strategic partnership for businesses including the deployment of new energy vehicles (NEV)-related facilities, according to a statement from Times China.

Under the agreement, both parties will make joint efforts to expand resource channels, deploy NEV-related facilities and network, conduct crossover branding activities, and build user communities.
Through the collaboration, the two companies expect to offer users joyful lifestyles by co-building a new type of service ecosystem capable of sustainable development.
Following the cooperation, Times China and NIO's Guangzhou branch will jointly launch a program dubbed “the Season of Desirable Life”, intending to team up on businesses of marketing, user experience, and other services.
As one of leading NEV startups in China, NIO is renowned for its user-centric services by creating several innovative concepts, especially, NIO House. More than a car showroom, a NIO House is trying to make users relax themselves and connect with others by offering such facilities as a work lab, coffee bar, living room, lounge area, library, meeting space, open kitchen, and a discovery area for children.
NIO has already opened 27 NIO Houses in China. The latest one was launched on September 5 in Wuhan. According to Qin Lihong, co-founder and president of NIO, the startup's first Norway-based NIO House will start business on September 23 in the country's capital Oslo.
