Besides, CATL is launching manufacturing projects for CTC technology. On Feb. 19, CATL broke ground on its integrated electric chassis R&D facility in Shanghai. This project is in all likelihood launched to expedite CATL's development of CTC technology.
On February 15, CATL's subsidiary Synland forged partnership with Zhejiang Gonow Automobile Co., Ltd. for the R&D and sales of vehicles and chassis. CATL's CTC technology is likely to be applied in trials on the latter's new energy commercial vehicle platform.
