Gasgoo Munich- Xiaomi EV unveiled its third product line on the evening of Sept 7, positioning the new "SkyNomad" as an extended-range family SUV. According to the company’s official Weibo account, the SkyNomad series racked up over 10,000 locked orders within just four minutes of going on sale. Founder, Chairman, and CEO Lei Jun quickly took to social media to tout the milestone.

The launch lineup includes four variants: the N70 Pro at 209,900 yuan, the N70 Max at 239,900 yuan, the N90 Max at 269,900 yuan, and the N90 Max Explorer at 299,900 yuan. While the N70 targets the mid-to-large five-seat extended-range SUV segment, the N90 is positioned as a large seven-seat flagship. On the purchasing front, custom orders require a 5,000 yuan deposit that is refundable within three days if the order isn't locked. For near-stock vehicles, a 20,000 yuan deposit secures the order immediately, with deliveries expected within one to five weeks.
Notably, Xiaomi EV’s cumulative deliveries surpassed the 800,000-unit mark as of Sept 7. It took the automaker roughly two and a half years to reach this milestone from the start of deliveries for its first model, the SU7. With the addition of the SkyNomad series, Xiaomi EV is expanding its portfolio beyond pure electric sedans and SUVs into the extended-range and large three-row family SUV segments.
